You will need: crepe paper, wire, scissors, branches, glue and a vase for the finished composition.

First, we make the core. We cut strips of paper 6-8 cm wide and make a fringe from it, and then we twist it, as shown in the photo, and fix it with wire.

The next step is to cut out the sunflower petals from yellow crepe paper, and the leaves that will be located under the inflorescence from green. You can make them different in size, a flower will turn out more natural. The shape of the petals and leaves is approximately the same. Also, the blanks need to slightly round the edges.

We are preparing to create real leaves that will be located on the stem, and we are making wire blanks directly for the stem.

We wrap the wire with corrugated paper cut into thin strips to give the stem a natural look. We coat the stem with glue and glue the leaves to it.

Next, we begin to collect the flower, gluing in a circle, first the yellow petals in two layers, and then the green leaves.

We wind the flower to a branch with a thickness slightly less than the little finger with the help of wire. And we make such a “pipe” out of paper to hide all the ugliness.
