How to equip a children's playground

Creating a playground is a very important moment. And the question of building a small children's kingdom on a few square meters must be thought out to the smallest detail.

Before you begin the construction process itself, you need to answer yourself the following questions:

- where exactly will the children's corner be located;
- how much space can you allocate for this;
- what structures will the complex consist of;
- what materials will be used for construction;
- what coverage will be on the playing area (for example, crumb rubber. More details here ).

Since most often the children are alone on the playground, the place should be chosen away from outbuildings, making sure that they are surrounded by safe objects. It is also best to enclose a finished corner with flower beds, bright fairy-tale figures. We must not forget about the lighting and put a few flashlights.

Often, your little ones will be able to offer you options for what will keep them entertained. The easiest option for what you can do yourself is a sandbox, swing, slide, stumps. If you find some of the remains of building materials, and you know how to work with tools, then the site will be exclusive and almost free.

If you are building a playground in a private area, you can take care of the rest of your kids and their cleanliness. You can arrange a place to sleep (after all, how good it is to sleep in the fresh air, but this is discussed in our other article) and consider installing a pool, and maybe a shower, which will also come in handy for adults on a hot summer day.

Now we will give some tips on how to build the simplest children's playgrounds with your own hands.

1. Swing.

Summer is simply unimaginable without swings. Swings can be bought and fixed on a tree, you can build them yourself from boards or an old tire. Everything depends on your imagination.

2. Sandbox.

To make the simplest sandbox, you need to stock up on 6 boards (4 for the sides, 2 for the seats), 4 low posts, awning fabric, gravel and sand.

Mark the corners of the sandbox and install posts there, sheathe the sandbox with boards, pour crushed stone on the bottom, tamp it down. Nail the benches along the edges of the sides, fill the sandbox with sand. The awning that you put up will protect children from overheating in sunny weather.

Hemp for kids is like sports equipment for teenagers. They, by the way, can become sides for the sandbox, or they can be randomly located throughout the playground. Stumps should be brightly and bizarrely painted. From an old basin, you can build a fly agaric hat. Here is a sea of fantasy for you.

Everyone can show their ingenuity. Be sure to listen to the ideas of the kids themselves. For example, stumps can be combined with a sandbox.

Again, you can combine 2 in 1: a truck with a sandbox or a house with a sandbox.

6. House.

Having found a place for a site under the house, clear and firmly trample the ground, laying bricks around the perimeter of the structure. Lay the boards on this foundation to make a rectangle, and knock them down. Make a flooring that will be raised above the ground to avoid all sorts of colds.

It is better to sheathe the house on three sides, a window with a window in one of the sides will not interfere with games. Do not forget that all the details of the house must be firmly connected so that children cannot destroy anything and harm themselves when playing.
