Making beautiful peony flowers for gift wrapping

Such a beautiful peony can be made in just a couple of minutes to decorate a gift box. It remains only to find the right paper. What is meant here?
The author of the idea uses the so-called tissue paper in English - a special thin wrapping paper. From the options available to us, you can take corrugated paper or thick quality napkins. They are good for this too.
So let's get started.
1. Take or cut out 6-8-10 sheets of paper. The more layers you have, the denser your flower will be. You can also play around with the hues by using darker paper as underlayers.
2. Fold the paper as shown in the photo and pinch the folds. The width of the strip is approximately 3 cm.
3. When you get one thick strip of paper, tie the sheets in the middle and cut off the ends. You can also use stationery gum for this purpose. To make the flower look more natural and more like a natural peony, round off the ends.
4. Straighten the edges by pulling on the ends to make a flat flower.
5. Now spread the "petals": pull each part of each individual leaf up and towards you. Be extremely careful - the paper can easily tear! Start with the first, topmost layer, it should become almost perpendicular to everything else.
Continue to lift each next layer (each time you will have to lift it less and less) until you process half of the sheets on both sides (3-4-5), then turn the flower over and repeat the procedure with the remaining layers. This is necessary in order for the flower to be voluminous.
6. Now you can safely decorate the box.

What a beauty, so easy. I tried to make this master class from napkins, it turned out very cool. And you don't need any corrugated paper.
