Soft handmade calendar as a gift for the New Year

We already wrote in one of the previous articles how to make a button calendar. Today I want to share with you another reusable but softer calendar idea.

To create such a curiosity, you will need a piece of cloth or other dense fabric - linen, cotton, as well as many multi-colored shreds, Velcro tape for attaching months and days and buttons covered with fabric, glue. Buttons and ribbon are sold at any sewing accessories store.

The only question is how to print on the fabric. Several options are possible:

a) using thermal transfer paper. The image is printed on a printer, and then with the help of a special thermal press (at home - an iron) is transferred to the fabric.

b) using a special marker that is suitable for the fabric. In this case, the only thing you need to have is beautiful and readable handwriting.

This is what the calendar looks like from the back.

Other color schemes of the calendar are also possible, including those indicating the days of the week (I would still advise them to make them for ease of use).

Such a little thing will be an excellent functional gift for your loved ones for the New Year. Its big plus is that thanks to the universal structure, the calendar can be rebuilt annually.
