One of my friends, a native Muscovite, by the way, bought an apartment with her husband. Housing in Moscow, as you know, is now very expensive, so they took it on credit. The rest of the money was enough only for the most necessary furniture.
But every woman so wants to create comfort and warmth in her own home. On one foreign site, she found an idea on how to make the most beautiful decorative pillows for a sofa from old shirts forgotten by her husband.
So, if you are a master of a needle or a sewing machine is idle at home, you will succeed. Creating a pillowcase will take quite a bit of time, you just need your imagination to decorate the product.
Let's get started. Take your once favorite bright men's shirt, if the buttons are torn off - sew it on, turn it inside out. It is advisable to iron, so it will be easier to work with. Put the shirt on the table, put a pillowcase on it or the pillow itself and circle the outline with dry soap.
Get a rectangle. To this add 3-4 cm and re-draw the borders with soap. And then sew your product either by hand or on a typewriter with a double seam. Turn the resulting pillowcase right side out.
If you want to make the pillow even prettier, you can sew on large buttons in different sizes, or you can simply make an appliqué by cutting symbols or letters from other fabric. Baste them with large stitches.
All work completed. Put on a wonderful pillowcase and enjoy your creation.
