Cool T-shirt backpack

Familyfun.go.com has a great idea on how to turn an old t-shirt into a cool backpack and keep your kid entertained for a night or two.

Source material: the T-shirt itself, scissors, threads, a needle and, most importantly, a cord (multiply the radius of the T-shirt by 6) and sewing rings.

Plan of action: a T-shirt is taken and the top is cut off from it. For work, you need only the lower wide part of the T-shirt.

We sew the cut line either manually or on a sewing machine.

At the bottom, where the T-shirt is stitched, make an incision near the seam and put the cord through there. This will be the top of the backpack.

We make out the bottom of the backpack with the help of sewing rings. We tie the free ends of the cord in them.

Backpack is ready!
