Lamp for giving from a wine bottle

Our Dacha forum, within the framework of the “I did it myself - explain to a friend” contest, a participant under the nickname Maria sent photos of a home-made lamp for the dacha, made by her husband for the dacha.

The option is suitable for those whose lampshade for the night light has burst, and all other details have been left unattended.

Step by step photos.

1. A bottle of an interesting shape, unusual color or texture is taken.

2. Such a “corner” is made to make it more convenient to cut off the bottom and neck of the bottle.

3. Turning the bottle with one hand, use the glass cutter to draw a line so that the lines match.

4. The prepared bottle must be placed in cold water, and pour boiling water into it. As a result, the bottle will crack in the right place.

5. Do the same with the neck.

6. We process the sections with hacksaw paper or a bar.

7. The final touch - we use the bottle as a lampshade for the lamp.

Very nice. Only, to be honest, I would look for a more original bottle.
